Ashes of the dead are interred in St. Luke's Memorial Garden. 'Earth to earth, dust to dust, ashes to ashes'. The plaques on the near brick wall name them, and we remember them - with sorrow and with thanksgiving for the blessing of their lives among us. The garden receives a lot of attention. It is beautifully planted and a sprinkler system has been installed. There are benches. The garden is a place of fellowship and a place of reflection and prayer. Wreaths or other flower arrangements are most appropriately placed by the statue of St. Luke. If you would like to remember someone in particular at Christmas or at Easter, or any anniversary through the year, please place your flowers or wreaths around the fountain or up on the porch under the plaques on the wall. "Thank you." St. Luke's Altar Guild |
